In January, 25th, EPA Training Center gladly received the visit from the new commandant of the Integrated Center for Security and Air Traffic Control (CINDACTA II), Colonel-Aviator Luiz Ricardo de Souza. CINDACTA II is responsible for both activities of Security and Air Traffic Control within the south and southwest of Brazil.
Colonel-aviator Luiz Ricardo has been serving Brazilian Air Force on several positions on the last decades and before taking on the task to lead the CINDACTA II he was working as an assistant operation leader for the DECEA. On this visit, the commandant inspected EPA infrastructure and personnel and the resources applied by the Training Center on its activities with the ERJ-145-Legacy, EMB-120 and EMB-110 simulators.
On 2011, more than 600 pilots from Brazilian Air Force had gone through training at EPA Training Center facilities.
